Bill L. Jett

Continuing Education and involvement in Professional Organizations has always been important to Bill. He is a founding member of the Clinical Social Work Association in the State of Kentucky.  In 1999, he became a Marriage and Family Therapist  licensed through the Kentucky Board.

In 1992, Bill earned his Diplomate in Behavioral Medicine and Professional Psychotherapy from the International Academy of Behavioral Medicine, Counseling and Professional Psychotherapy.  He served as a Board Member of the Chrysalis House from 2006-2014.

From 1999-2011, he served as a Diplomate for the National Association of Forensic Counselors on the National Board of Addiction Examiners and as a Certified Domestic Violence Counselor (CDVC) at the Academy of Domestic Violence Counselors. He is a Charter Member, of the Kentucky Society for Clinical Social Work, and served as the first Board President from 1972-1974. He also holds Charter Board Membership in The National Federation of Societies for the Clinical Social Work

Bill L. Jett has long been known as an activist for the Independent Practice of  Licensed Clinical Social Work, and has built his business on the belief that non-institutional, on-going psychotherapy attributes to good mental health and the wellness of his patients. From 1968-1980, you would often find Bill stating his case to lawmakers on the steps of Capitol Hill in Frankfort, while he served as a lobbyist for the KY Society of Clinical Social Work.
